Poker is a card game where the players put in a sum of money, called a pot, to play. The player with the highest hand wins this pot. The hand can be a combination of cards of any rank and suit, but the higher the ranking of the card, the better the hand. The game requires both luck and skill. Each round of betting begins with 2 mandatory bets (called blinds) placed into the pot by the players to the left of the dealer. These bets create an incentive to play and help balance the odds for all players.<\/p>\n
